Ministry Description: The Cortland Christian Church is an independent Christian church,
located in southern Indiana, 4 miles west of Seymour on State Road 258.
We are looking for a part-time or bi-vocational pastor who would prayerfully and compassionately lead our congregation. We are a restoration movement church using the NIV Bible.
We would prefer someone with a pastoral degree and some pulpit experience, but not required. We need an individual with a passion for encouraging congregational leadership with solid Biblical preaching and teaching so that our congregational body might gain a better understanding of God's Word and how it should be applied to the issues that confront us today. We would consider applicants from students nearing graduation to a minister retired from a larger church who would still desire to pastor a small loving congregation in a rural community.
We are a debt free congregation with a 3 bedroom parsonage available.
If interested, send resume and any preaching recordings to: Search Committee Cortland Christian Church PO Box 214 Cortland, Indiana 47228
